Simon was called to the English Bar in 1991 and practised as a Barrister at chambers in London before returning to Jersey in 1993 to become an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey. A partner at Bedell Cristin in 1998 Simon took over the law firm of Bois Bois in 2003 with Daniel Young and became a director of Bond Trust Limited in that year.

Simon is a director of a number of companies ranging from companies involved in aviation, intellectual property holding and commercial property. As a partner in Bois Bois he deals with a variety of commercial and trust disputes with a special emphasis on fraud and asset tracing claims and has represented clients in a number of high profile claims in the Royal Court involving accessory liability, breach of fiduciary duty and non-contentious trust issues. Named as a prominent figure in the field of contentious trust by City Wealth Leaders List in 2009 Simon’s many years experience in this field enable him to identify and manage risk in relation to entities administered by Bond Trust.
